Blog Hop: Art From the Heart Birthday Weekend

Hi, hi, hi.

Today I'm taking part in a blog hop to celebrate the10th birthday celebration of Art from the Heart.

As well as being the place I got to attend two amazing Dina Wakely workshops, Art from the Heart is actually one of the few remaining independent craft shops in the whole of our region ... and that's definitely something worth celebrating!

OK then, here's my Stampotique project created especially for today's festivites:

 The layout features my favourite Stampotique stamp ... the adorable [in my eyes!] Heads are peeking out all over:

 I stamped those at the top directly on to the cardstock [Ranger Inkssentials Manila 12x12] with Distress Inks then heat embossed a panel of the little guys down the left side. I then used a paintbrush to swipe and flick Dylusions inks over the top bfore wiping the excess away so the faces re-emerged from the darkness ...

 Here the Heart Shirt chap peers around the corner catching me photographing myself  ... long story. As usual the wording is snipped from an old book:

In this page I finally found the ideal use for an old mirrored watch face I bought well over a year ago:

And, last but not least, more wording from an old book and a vintage postage stamp. [You've come to expect nothing less though, haven't you?]
