Overheard: I heard that!

I'm not sure I can categorise this one as an 'over'-heard as it was something I was meant to be listening to directly [i.e: it wasn't just me listening in to other people's conversations as is so often the case!. So I guess I could describe it as more of a 'heard'!

So, here's a 'heard' from a lecture on the sound technologies in computer games, 16.02.09:

Lecturer: We can’t hear anything higher than 44kHz. In fact, I don’t think any animal can [a pause while he considered his facts] ….. except maybe a shrimp …
