A Month of Sunrays: 'The Ribbon Girl' ribbon kit giveaway

Hi, hi.

Anyone starting to feel sunny yet? Despite the snow.

If not, then I think the idea of winning this might just help you along your way ...

The Ribbon Girl is a fabulously well-stocked online shop filled with ribbony, buttony and embellishmenty goodness:

Click to visit The Ribbon Girl
... and as if that wasn't enough... it's run by very generous ladies who want to send one a packet of their very finest sunshine to one of you!

One winner will receive a generous yellow [naturally!!] ribbon + embellishment kit:

How to enter the giveaway:
The Ribbon Girls themselves are just happy to send one of you this bundle of sun rays through the post ... but I'm going to set you a little creative challenge first. So ...

  • To enter, leave a comment below this post sharing what you might be inspired to create with the kit if you won...
  • It could be a sunny scrapbook page; a cheery card or you might even trim a T-shirt with yellow ribbon or swap the buttons on a cardigan for those in the kit.
  • Whatever it is, share it in the comments so we can all feel inspired to get creating with yellow!
Deadline for entries:
  • Friday 24th February 8pm [UK time].
  • Winner will be selected at random soon after and announced in the days following.
  • Please make sure I can click your profile / or else leave me a link to your blog/Twitter etc so I contact you if you win. If I can't get in touch with you or, if the prize isn't claimed within a week of me doing my best to find you, I'll make another draw for a winning name.
Best of luck!

--------------------------------------------

I'll be back tomorrow with a sunshiny craft project which may or may not feature the words 'printer's tray' in the description.

See you then.

Julie

I would love to use them to create brooch or hair pins for my friends daughter who is 2 years old. And also can use it to go along with a summery sunshine dress for her.

Hello from sunny Missouri! Yesterday I saw a great idea for making bracelets using lace, trim, ribbons, bias tape, buttons, etc. The colors they used were very dark. I think it would be great to do some in YELLOW!

Enjoy your yellow day!

I guess I would decorate my currently black pencil case. I always get tired of having the same things on my art space, and a bit of yellow would definitely inspire me!

A sunny layout for me! (tho my Japanese doll book arrived today, so some could make its way onto a dress or two). It's a very pretty kit!

With that much ribbon I think I'd have to decorate a canvas bag - that way I could always take some sunshine with me whatever the weather!

I'd make a card for my mum so I could spread a little bit of sunshine to her! I bought some yellow carnations today to help spread some sunrays!

I see a canvas painted in shabby bright yellows, some of the ribbons I'd sew on top with the buttons and others I'd cut up and knot around a small wire circle to make a wreath to sit on top of the canvas - can i make please????
